Testimonials From Students Who Have Attended This Course
“I am a Nursing Home Administrator and I took this course to capture a better understanding of the integral part that activity leaders play in the healthcare continuum. A stellar activity program can make or break a skilled nursing facility. Idle hands are the devil’s playground. A strong activity program is a win for everybody, including the residence and the staff. Good activities provides for less call lights, better mood, and most importantly, it gives the residents a sense of purpose, and a reason to get up rather than laying in bed all day. If you’ve ever seen or been a part of an outstanding activity program, you know exactly what I am talking about. This course exceeded all expectations and thoroughly covered the crucial role that activities plays in a skilled nursing facility. It is often one of the most overlooked yet under utilized departments. A good activity leader truly can be a beacon of hope in someone else’s dark world and what a wonderful opportunity that is.” February 2026
“I like the training class; the instructors are explaining things in more detail and guiding specific connections to courses for activity leaders. Students can easily apply the training to their current work” February 2026
